Transition from live exports

Lynn has been a fierce advocate for banning live animal export for a number of years. Lynn believes that a better alternative to this cruel industry would be to phase out live animal exports and support meat processing here in Australia to be exported overseas.

Investigations by animal welfare organisation like Animals Australia, have shown the current Federal Government policy -  the Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS) does not work and is notoriously useless in protecting Australian animals from the barbaric handling and slaughter practices of some of our trading partners.

Recently we hit a new low with live exporters now shipping Australian cattle to China; a country without animal cruelty laws with a bad track record for treatment of animals.

Now more than ever, it is time that we take action to ban live animal export and transition to a meat processing industry here in Australia.

What you can do:

If you would like to ban live animal export in Australia, its time to take action.
