Roe 8 Public Environmental Review document released
Today the Public Environmental Review (PER) for the proposed Roe 8 Highway opened. The proposed highway will wreak irrevocable damage to the Beeliar wetlands, an urban sanctuary of great ecological significance and heritage value.The PER document reveals that up to 112 hectares of habitat will be cleared, including 78 hectares Carnaby's Cockatoo foraging habitat.
Lynn will be making a submission to the PER and is urging other people to do the same. Public submissions close on Monday 12 September. We'll post more information to help you make your submission here soon. See our Roe 8 campaign page for more information.

The building is fully accessible and has recently undergone a multi million dollar eco-rennovation to become a "Green Building".
Please join us at 6pm for drinks, fingerfood and networking.
We ask everyone to be seated ready for Bob's 7pm presentation followed by your questions.
More drinks including tea and coffee will be served from 8-8.30pm and Bob will look forward to meeting everyone.
Tickets are $35 non-members, $30 members or $20 if you are unwaged or hold a concession card.
