Happy Birthday Sustainable Energy Association WA
Lynn MacLaren MLC would like to congratulate the Western Australian Sustainable Energy Association on another milestone - its 8th birthday.
WA SEA was established in 2002 to promote the development of a sustainable energy industry as a solution to reducing Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions.
It now has over 330 members, making WA SEA the largest energy industry chamber in Australia.
"WA SEA has a very diverse membership from architects and builders, urban and transport planners, engineers and energy efficiency consultants, lawyers and greenhouse auditors, all the way through to renewable energy manufacturers and generators," says WA SEA Chief, Executive Professor Ray Wills.
"In addition, WA SEA has a whole raft of customers who are buying those goods or services and that are interested in seeing a strong market develop to ensure the availability competitive pricing and a diversity of providers," Mr Wills added.

The building is fully accessible and has recently undergone a multi million dollar eco-rennovation to become a "Green Building".
Please join us at 6pm for drinks, fingerfood and networking.
We ask everyone to be seated ready for Bob's 7pm presentation followed by your questions.
More drinks including tea and coffee will be served from 8-8.30pm and Bob will look forward to meeting everyone.
Tickets are $35 non-members, $30 members or $20 if you are unwaged or hold a concession card.

There will be beer, wine and soft drinks for sale, along with Fair Trade, barista coffee and tea.
